Thank you Lake County Animal Control!
Microchip Hunters was happy to receive a microchip help request for a Husky found in Beach Park, IL. He was found with his collar and leash attached! This chip appeared to be a Save This Life Microchip and was a dead-end showing no information on the owner or implant facility. Microchip Hunters was able to find where the Microchip was implanted and contacted the animal hospital who was able to provide owner information! Though the owner only spoke Spanish, texting using translate methods was a success! The family was looking for Solovino, and the son was actually out looking for him before school! He was found in the vicinity of his home. The family went to pick him up right away, and Microchip Hunters helped get the chip registered, along with ordering an ID tag for his collar. We know how Huskies are! Welcome home Solovino, you are loved! Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters www.microchiphelp.com

Levi's family was found!
This little cutie was picked up by a Good Samaritan and taken to the North Chicago Fire Department before going to North Chicago Animal Control. He had a microchip that had 2 names and one phone number attached but the number was no good. Microchip Hunters was tagged by a fan, thank you, who reached out to North Chicago Animal Control who provided the chip information. Microchip Hunters did some searching online and found that both names on file went back to owners that had passed away. A search for relatives began, and a few family members were called and texted. I received a call back from a twin of the family member looking for Levi! He had been missing since Thursday 4/10! She contacted her sister and let her know where Levi was, and he was reunited this morning! Thank goodness!!! Welcome home, Levi!!! Thanks to everyone involved! Honey's family had a new phone number, but didn't update it on their registration from 2018, so Chicago Animal Care and Control sent her chip number to Microchip Hunters for help connecting with the family! Microchip Hunter Pauline was able to reach the family at their new number, and they were missing her. She is now home, and we will be ensuring the microchip gets updated! Welcome home Honey!!!
