Wishing you a speedy recovery...Microchip Hunters helped get 13 year old Coco home in #Markham #IL1/12/2021 Markham Animal Clinic posted about a dog that was hit by a car and taken to their clinic. "Coco has a laceration and some other minor injuries but there are no fractures."
Microchip Hunters was tagged on this, and reached out to the clinic. Microchip Hunters was able to contact P.A.W.S. Tinley Park where Coco was adopted, and received owner information. Coco's microchip information was also registered and current, and we were able to call the owner. She didn't know where Coco was, and was so happy to hear he was found. Coco went home just last night, we hope he gets well quickly! His owner said he was so so happy to see his mama. She missed him so much. He was part of their family for 8 years, and the owner said how much they realized he was a family member after he went missing. Get well quickly little Coco - we will be thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery! Thank you Markham for taking care of Coco, and Thank you Paws Tinley Park for all your help and concern as well!!! Bella's microchip led to a disconnected phone number. Chicago Animal Control sent Microchip Help the microchip to work on!
Microchip Hunters was able to reach a niece of the owner by email, and she replied, "yes we are looking for her." She asked where she was found so we provided that, along with the information on where to email to make arrangements to pick Bella up. There was no reponse for a little while. The next day, our volunteer received word from the owner! Bella went missing from them 2 years ago! They had had her for 3 years. She was home, and said that she is so happy that the microchip worked! We are so happy too, Bella looked to be well cared for so went home feeling good. Staff at Chicago Animal Control said, "she was so excited to see her owner" Found 1/7/2020 Reunited 1/9/2020 Welcome back home Bella, we are glad you are back where you belong!
