Lemont was waiting too long
Lemont was found and taken to Chicago Animal Control. He was wearing a rabies tag and worn Banfield tag. It took a while to get the information on where Lemont had his rabies vaccine, and when the information came, the phone numbers were not current. Microchip was asked to help, and was able to find a current phone number for the wife! She was so grateful, and after taking her 5 kids to camp the next day, she went right over to get Lemont. She said her kids were going to be so happy he was home! Found 6/17/2023 Reunited 6/27/2023 Welcome home Lemont! You are so loved!!! Lemont is now microchipped too!!! When Chicago Animal Care and Control couldn't get in touch with Kane's family, they sent the microchip number to Microchip Hunters for help!
Microchip Hunter Amy W was able to reach Kane's family through facebook, and it took some time to pick Kane up because of the family's work schedule, but they made it! They said they were 'looking everywhere for him'!!! Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters www.microchiphelp.com Thank you Misty for taking in little Bosco when he got out last night from his home in #Belleville.
His microchip was registered and the police department tried to reach the family but the numbers were disconnected. Microchip Hunters reached out after many awesome fans comments to contact for help. Misty shared the chip number and Microchip Hunters was able to find a family member to connect with. This family member shared the sad news that her father and step mother have both passed away, but that Bosco is still with family...she shared the phone number and I received a call back! Thank you Misty for bringing Bosco back home to the family who lived nearby. They are really grateful. Microchip Hunters helped with making sure the microchip is updated, and is also sending an ID tag for Bosco's collar. Microchip Hunter volunteer Amy D. reached the brother and father of Katara's owner, when she was having trouble reaching the owner on file. His number was not current. Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters www.microchiphelp.com The Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation messaged about a microchip leading to a dead end to Microchip Hunters.
The microchip was never registered, but Chicago Animal Care and Control was able to provide owner information from 2015. When I was searching for a current phone number for this owner, I found that he had passed away. In researching, I was finding relatives close to the area Tyler was found, and was able to reach the sister, who shared the information for the family members that Tyler belonged to. She said, "They will be so happy to have Tyler back." They went to the 16th district right after work, and Tyler was reunited. We provided the information to register the microchip and will send the family an ID tag. Thank you Greg for keeping him safe! Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters www.microchiphelp.com |
