Thank you to Cincinnati Animal CARE for submitting the chip information to get this dog home! Sometimes it takes some extra digging, and Microchip Hunters really takes the time to do that!
Loyal was found as a stray and taken to Cincinnati Animal CARE on November 10th. CAC tried the phone number on Loyal’s microchip and found it was disconnected. They noted that Loyal seemed to “have been well-cared-for and cherished." Loyal’s stray hold passed, and he was listed as available for adoption, noting his “mesmerizing eyes and an endearing face." In a last-ditch effort to find his owner, they submitted his information to the Microchip Hunters. Jessica S took the case on November 16th and started digging. Late on the evening of the 17th she got a response from someone who recognized Loyal and knew his mom! Loyal’s mom called early on the 18th to find out where he was located. A few hours later the Microchip Hunters received a wonderful email from Cincinnati Animal CARE. "Happy to report Loyal’s Owner is here now picking him up! This was a Returned to Owner 10000% thanks to MicrochipHunters!!! We wouldn't have gotten him home without your help. He was already off his stray hold and in our adoption run when I submitted it to you. Truly great work for this guy." Welcome home sweet Loyal, your family loves you!!! You do have an endearing face! Belle escaped from her owner’s balcony in Georgia, and was missing for a week before she was found by good Samaritan Amanda. Amanda contacted Microchip Hunters (MH) for help! Belle's family had a number on the microchip that was not current. MH's new volunteer Catherine took the case. After numerous dead-end phone calls and extra internet sleuthing, Catherine was able to find Belle’s mom, who lived about 30 minutes away from where Belle was found. Belle’s mom was over the moon about her sweet baby being found and couldn’t wait to bring her back home where she belonged. She picked Belle up with her grandkids in tow and they are happily reunited once again.
LLost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters Microchiphelp.com Thanks to the finder in Georgia, and Microchip Hunters, Captain was reunited to his family! Microchip Hunters were told that an ex kept the dog but that they had no current contact information and moved out of the state. A name was provided and after some research, a phone number was found! The owner made arrangements to meet to pick Captain up!!! We are so happy he was able to go back home!!! Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters www.microchiphelp.com The finder of this Shiba Inu sent the microchip information to Microchip Hunters when the family for Katara couldn't be reached! Katara's microchip was registered to an owner in California and the phone number wasn't working. Microchip Hunter volunteer Amy D. reached the brother and father of Katara's owner, when she was having trouble reaching the owner on file. His number was not current. The finder couldn't hold Katara long, and was going to have to take her to a shelter. Thankfully Katara's family went to pick her up right away!!! They do live in Georgia now! Welcome home Katara, you are loved!!! Thank you to Michelle for keeping her safe! Microchip Hunters helped register Katara's microchip, and also sent her an ID tag for her collar!!! Her microchip was registered to owners in Atlantic Beach, Florida, but both phone numbers were disconnected.
We were so happy they sent this to Microchip Hunters for help! I was able to do some research on-line and found a number for a grandson, who put his grandmother on the other line with me. She told me she couldn't keep the two little dogs but had three others she was able to take with her when she moved. She said she rehomed them, and had been called once before, years ago also for Isabel. She didn't know who the owners were. I asked where she took them and she told me the 'dog pound' in Jacksonville! I sent an email to the Jacksonville Animal Control, and they were able to find the adopter information from 2013, but when I tried the phone number, it also was dead-end. He lived in Jacksonville. I went back to researching and found a relative for the adopter, who lived in Georgia! I was excited to see that! Christine answered, and right away asked where "Bella" was. She said her brother changes numbers often but lives close to where she was found. She hadn't spoken to him in a few weeks, but after given the information, she went as soon as they opened Monday to pick her up. After all, she is family. Welcome home Bella - thank you to Walton Animal Control for sending this to us, and to sister Christine, for helping her brother! Christine was given the information to get the microchip changed over! Back home photo in comments!
