Not all animals found abandoned need a new home!

This 2-year-old cat was found (left) outside of Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), but did have a family that came to get her as soon as they heard!

Thank you CACC for sending this to microchip hunters when the phone number from the microchip was disconnected. Microchip Hunter Dianne reached the ex mother-in-law who helped get in touch with the family. When the family learned where she was, they made arrangements for a ride and picked her up the next day. They had her since she was a kitten and love this little 2-year-old cat.

Welcome home!

Missing over 6 weeks, mystery solved!

Thank you, The City of Mobile Animal Services, for caring enough to send this dead-end microchip to Microchip Hunters!

Draco's had a microchip that begins with 900 and was never registered. Many chip companies show up as possible manufacturers, but none turned out to be correct.

Microchip Hunters did some digging, and contacted another microchip company not listed, for some help!
This dog was purchased at a flea market in Alabama. I was able to get information for the breeder with the help of someone that purchased their dog there, and the breeder searched for owner information! When I contacted Draco's family, he was so happy. He had given up finding him after 6 weeks and even sold his crate.

When I looked up the hours for animal services, it showed 12-4 Monday through Friday, so the family told me they would be able to get there Wednesday when they were off work. I provided the phone number and arrangements were made - Draco went home today, Sunday!!! I woke up to a happy reunion!

Thank you again to all involved in getting him home, and a special thanks to the The City of Mobile Animal Services for working to get Draco home quickly; he is loved!

Draco's microchip is now registered!
