Home at Last! The found Pitbulls from #Zion #IL are home safe and sound! "#LostDogsIllinois #MicrochipHunters found the owner’s info and contacted him. #GrandAnimalHospital helped with the reunion this morning. Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters did all of the detective work after I ran into brick walls trying to find the owner." Found 1/9/2020; Reunite 1/11/2020. Welcome home to these sweethearts! Thank you for keeping them safe Ande!
*** Testimonial From Ande *** "Lost Dogs Illinois made all the difference!! Within a matter of hours of receiving the chip info, I was contacted by the owner. I’m not sure what kind of magical powers you guys have but you are awesome!!" ______________________________________________ Our story: Ande, the finder, was so kind to get these found dogs scanned for a microchip. Only one of the dogs had a chip. It was an unregistered homeagain microchip, but backtracked to McHenry County Animal Control & Adoption Center Friends. Ande contacted them, but they were unable to connect with this owner. The information was from early 2013 when "Bowser" was microchipped. She then took them home to hold them and posted them found, waiting to hear from their family. Ande's friend sent the microchip information to one of the Lost Dog Illinois volunteers, who messaged it to us at Microchip Help! I was able to get the owner information #MchenryCountyAnimalControl had on file, thanks to the Officer that called me back last night! He also told me that the dog wasn't owned by this family since 2014. Thank you so much! I was able to find a working number for the original owner, and he called me back right away letting me know that his mom facilitated in finding Bowser's new home and that he would see if she still had any information for them. Thankfully she did, and Leo called me and was hoping to be able to pick them up last night, but it was late and the finder had already been asleep. Leo was so happy, and thankful his sweethearts were in a warm home. They are now back with Leo; he loves these dogs very much. "He only lives a few streets away. It was a case of a wind blew a gate open and off they went. Thank you so much for your help!!! We really couldn't have had such great results without you. 🙂"
