Blacky is home!!!

Somehow Blacky ended up at Chicago Animal Care and Control this past weekend and while he was chipped, the contact information was no longer valid. Microchip Hunters got the case and started calling and texting what phone numbers we were able to find -- but no luck -- a lot of “Sorry, wrong number”! Anita tried a Facebook search and came up with an account that had possibilities. So a message was sent via Facebook but she wasn’t too optimistic because so often people don’t respond to messages from strangers. Getting a reply within just a few hours was a very welcome surprise!!!

Blacky’s owner provided a working phone number so we could contact them. The owner was very thankful and said they would get in touch with CACC right away. By the next day Blacky was home!

Welcome home beautiful boy! We knew someone was looking for you!
