When Chicago Animal Control couldn't reach Charlie's family from the information on file through his microchip, they sent it to Microchip help.
The owner on file had numbers that weren't working, and the only information found was out of state. When searching relatives, Chicago addresses came up, so I sent a couple of texts and heard back pretty quickly. The information on the microchip is for the daughter who is in the armed forces, and out of state. Charlie, the Rat Terrier, took off after a rat, and her mom spent the day looking for Charlie. She was at work, so her other daughter called me back and made arrangements with Chicago Animal Control to pick him up! Luckily they were able get the sister's authorization by email quickly; they didn't want to leave him there. He has been with the family for 12 years. "I can't thank you enough for helping me bring Charlie back home. He was happy to see his brothers ( my kids)." Thank you Chicago Animal Care and Control for sending this...
