Home at Last! Manny, the 10 year old Jack (Parson) Russell Terrier, ended up at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) but they were unable to reach the owner. CACC sent Manny's microchip information to Microchip Help and our volunteer, Jeanette was able to research to find a phone number that turned out to be the owner's daughter! When she heard the news of Manny being at CACC she was very happy he was safe, and her mom said right away she would be picking him up the next day.
Well, four days went by, and Manny was still at CACC. It turned out that Manny's family really did want their senior boy back home, but needed some help right now. Lost Dogs Illinois stepped up to help; because LDI truly believes in helping reunite dogs with their families, and reducing the number of dogs at shelters. No dog with a home should be sitting in a shelter. Missing 10/27/18; Reunited 11/1/18. Welcome home Manny!
