Dogs do remember...

Thank you to Bridget, for submitting this information to Microchip Hunters for help! This cutie went to P.A.W.S. Tinley Park and was picked up by his owner from the microchip.

"Yes, the owner called us at the shelter today. He came from Wisconsin this evening and got Chewy. He was very happy to see Chewy and had given the dog to a friend 8 years ago but has no clue the whereabouts now. Chewy was actually very happy to see him! After all these years!"

This case was not simple to solve. The key was getting the owner information from the implanter. It was minimal information, but it still allowed microchip hunters to find his current phone number.
