Lola, the senior Maltese Mix is home! She was missing for 20 days before she ended up at Chicago Animal Control after taken to the 25th district.
Chicago Animal Control tried to reach the family but the number they had on file from years ago for Lola was disconnected. They sent the chip information to microchip hunters. I pulled up the information for the microchip, and it showed a registration date of May 6th, along with a note about being missing/stolen on 5/5/2021. Her microchip was implanted in 2010. I called Lola's family who answered the call! Of course she had a million questions about how she was found, where she was, was she ok, etc. She told me Lola disappeared on 5/5 and that she contacted the chip company the next day. She made arrangements to pick Lola up, and she is home with her family where she belongs. Welcome home Lola! You are loved! Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters Microchip Help
