"Guero (Guerrito) has been missing since yesterday"

​Thank you to finder Julian for taking this little Chihuahua in when found in the alley. He was wearing a 2019 Rabies tag - Julian submitted the tag number to Microchip Hunters after Susan D and other fans mentioned!

Microchip Hunters (MH) was able to contact Cook County Animal Rabies and Control (CCARC). Unfortunately I was told that the chip has no information attached to it, but that it was sold to Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC)! CACC was able to provide owner information, and Guero's family was so relieved to get this call. The family said "Guero has been missing since yesterday."

Thank you Julian, CCARC, CACC, Susan D and fans, and all who helped get Guero home where he is loved! Julian was only able to hold on to him for a couple more hours before taking him to animal control. Glad he made it home quickly! Lost Dogs Illinois ordered an ID tag for his collar!
