Diamond was brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control with a microchip that led to a disconnected phone number. They sent it to microchip hunters, who were actually messaged the night before from a police department asking for help with this microchip.
The original owner was finally able to be reached, but said this dog was given to Jessica, and he shared her phone number. Jessica said she has 3 dogs missing. It turned out one of her other missing dogs was also at Chicago Animal Control. When called for owner information to confirm with the microchip company, they also said that a transfer was started for Jessica in 2017, but never was completed. Jessica was scrambling to come up with the reclaim fees to get two dogs home, so Lost Dogs Illinois helped her, and paid the fees for her. If you can help us pay for owners like Jessica to get their dogs back home to them, we would really appreciate it! Every little bit helps us bring families together! Jessica's third dog Spike is still lost and is posted on Lost Dogs Illinois, ID number 3283143, so keep a lookout! He is also microchipped and registered. https://www.facebook.com/…/a.31250702075…/3162259710498158/… "thank you very much for the assistance I really appreciate it" Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Help Microchip Hunters
