une (Esmerelda) was found as a stray in October 2018. June was VERY skinny at the time she started showing up at the good samaritan’s house. Finally the good samaritan named Alice was able to gain June’s trust and was able to take her to the vet to get her up to date on her shots! The vet scanned for a microchip and they found one! Alice then sent in a Microchiphelp.com form for our microchip hunters to take the case! I took the case late at night and sent out an email and messaged a couple of numbers! I woke up the next morning with a text from Amanda. I explained to her who I was and what I do. I then mentioned a cat to her and sent her a picture and she replied with “Yes this is my cat she escaped from our front door 6-7 months ago!!” I let her know the cat was safe and sound with the finder. I had a free moment in school so I asked the teacher if I could go into the hall and make a phone call to Alice! I proceeded to let her know the circumstances of June and how long she was outside for and I also gave Alice the owner’s phone number! Alice ended up calling Amanda and they talked about June! I was sitting in class at the time when Amanda messaged me saying Alice called her! I waited until I got home to text Amanda and asked her if she ended up making arrangements to meet Alice and get her June back home! She told me that she was talking to Alice and her 6 year old daughter fell in love with June. Later that night Amanda texted me saying “I just brought my baby home!!!” Microchips bring TRUE miracles! NEVER think any pet is being mistreated! NOT all strays are homeless!
