When Chicago Animal Care and Control couldn't get through to an owner on file for Bang, the found Pitbull, they sent it to Mcrochip Hunters. The caller that took him in said the dog was well trained and knew 'sit, stay, lay and paw'. He was wearing a red harness with the words “trained” written on it.
Microchip Hunters sent a text and Paul replied! He was totally shattered without Bang. “I need him badly. He is my service dog. I’m homeless and he’s the only thing I have in this world.” Paul just got a new number and had it activated and waited patiently (somewhat) for CACC to contact him the next day about picking him up. LDI offered to pay his reclaim fee, but when CACC heard his situation they also offered to help. Paul took a bus to CACC, and was able to get Bang back. He is very grateful. Microchip Hunters asked Paul if he could use help, and reached out to #PawSalvation, who, without hesitation called Paul. Paul made his way to Paw Salvation the next day! “I met with Paul , took care of him and his little guy and told him to reach out whenever he needs help”. Thank you so much! One of our Microchip Hunters is also sending some supplies Paul's way. We love seeing pets get back to their families. Paul and Bang need and love each other very much.
