Home at Last!

The found Black Mouth Cur / German Shepherd Mix from #Chicago #IL is home safe and sound! His name is Ambrose! Found 03/24/2019; Reunited 3/26/2019.

Erica, a very special person, found this beautiful senior boy, and took him to be scanned at Chicago Animal Care and Control. His microchip came up as an unregistered Avid number. Erica didn't have the heart to leave him at animal control, so she took him home, posted on Lost Dogs Illinois, and sent the information to us at microchiphelp.com. 

Microchip Hunter Katie C. found the owner information the next morning, through the Anti Cruelty Society where the chip was implanted. Of course, it wasn't that easy; the number was disconnected. After some searching, Katie found the owner, and said "she was so happy when I called her!" Katie gave her the finder information, and Erica was able to bring him home to them yesterday!

Thank you Katie C. for your help finding Ambrose's family, and thank you to Erica for all your kindness. Erica brought Ambrose home with some food and some treats - you are amazing!
