Keisy went missing in Hammond Indiana and wound up at Chicago Animal Care and Control! Thankfully Chicago Animal Care and Control sent the microchip to Microchip Hunters when the phone number on the microchip wasn't current! When I texted a number that could possibly be current for the family, and sent a photo, I got a reply 'is my dog.' The daughter called me to translate, and she told me Keisy went missing from Hammond, Indiana on August 13th! They asked where they can pick her up, and went the next day! Keisy's microchip has been updated and she will be getting an ID tag for her collar! Missing 8/13/2022, Found 9/13/2022, Reunited 9/14/2022 Welcome home Keisy, you are loved! Thank goodness you were microchipped! Update your microchip information when you move! Luckily this ended well for Keisy and her family - thank you Chicago Animal Care and Control for sending this to Microchip Help!
