Microchip Hunters received this microchip case from Chicago Animal Control because the microchip number was an older one (14 years old) and the two possible chip companies were unable to locate information.
Microchip Hunters (MH) called the chip companies as well, and learned that Hurley had been found once before, in Naperville and was taken to animal control there. The microchip was never registered or updated then. I (MH) called Naperville animal control, and gave them the microchip number and date last found. Naperville AC was able to find who the dog was reclaimed to and provide me information to reach Tiffany after they called an heard they were looking for Hurley! Hurley was with the son in Chicago, and he went missing on the 4th of July, like many other dogs! Her son was devastated! Tiffany was so happy to hear he was safe and said this was her mother's dog who is 14 years old (her mother has passed away). Tiffany went to pick Hurley up the next day, and I registered the microchip with her. A tag was also ordered for his collar with a current phone number! Welcome home Hurley, you are loved!!!
