I am 80 years old; I thought I would never see him again

A found dog post was seen and many fans referred the finder to MIcrochip Hunters! Thank you!

Microchip Hunters was able to get owner information for Smokie's owner, and she answered right away. She was so happy and was very emotional. She said Smokie was missing for a month. "I am 80 years old, I'm so sorry, I thought I would never see him again"

Thank you to Cinthia and Yessenia for picking Smokie up when you saw him out wandering, and for sending the chip number to microchip hunters after being told it wasn't registered! It was registered about a month ago, when he went missing!

Yessenia drove Smokie back home to Chicago right away after speaking with his family! What a nice night for all!
