"I'm so glad you reached out"

Chicago Animal Care and Control sent Sylvester's microchip information to us at Microchip Hunters: "The first number is disconnected; Second number just rings and never goes to voicemail" 

I sent a text to Jane, who registered this microchip in 2009, and I let her know that Sylvester was at CACC. I asked her if she was looking for him. She answered back, "Is he ok? He was adopted to another family in 2013. They were supposed to register him. Jane said, "I may still have her contact info. I'll check in the morning. I think about him all the time. I'm so glad you reached out." 

Well, Jane searched but could not find the information from 2013. She was in tears thinking of him being at animal control. She said they rescued him and his 2 brothers Hunter and Whiskers from Heartland, in 2009.

Jane called me, and told me she was going to pick Sylvester up, she just needed to get a couple things ready. His stray hold was nearly up. 

He went home with Jane yesterday. his original adopter of 4 years. She "said all is good; he is real skinny. Pictures to come. Thank you again for all your help."

Welcome back to your family Sylvester, you are loved.
