It took a while, but we finally heard back

Son was found not far from home, and taken to Chicago Animal Control. The phone number on the microchip was disconnected, but Microchip Hunters went to work trying to help reach his family. Relatives were contacted, but the owner had gotten a new phone and nobody could reach him. He finally called, and said he is a senior citizen. He wanted to go pick Son up right away, but didn't have the money on hand. Lost Dogs Illinois paid Son's reclaim fee, and he is now neutered and back home where he was loved since a small puppy.
