It was never his address or phone number!

Venus was found by a good samaritan and taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control. She was microchipped and when the owner couldn't be reached it was sent to Microchip Hunters.

Microchip Hunters weren't able to find any information that matched the name to this address and phone number on file. The landlord from the address was reached but they didn't know this person either. More research had to be done.

Finally, after make numerous calls to people matching this name (there were several in Chicago), I got a call back! The owner was looking for Venus. He took her to a work site with him and she took off from there. When I asked about the address and phone number listed, he said that isn't my information. It was his girlfriends number from a few years ago. He said he didn't know what shelter was near where she went missing, and knew she was microchipped. He will be updating the microchip to his current information.

Venus was picked up and is home! Welcome home!
