Lambchop has a family that loves her!
When I saw this dog that was sent to #MicrochipHelp I knew she had to have a family frantically looking for her. She was taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control on 5/31/2019. I looked up the the microchip information through Avid and found that this girl's microchip was never registered, so went with the owner information Chicago Animal Care and Control had records for on her. I finally made contact, with some more research, after no replies for many messages and emails sent. It was the owner's daughter, Erica, that called me back, immediately after sending a text message that there is a dog found and we are looking for her family. There was a long pause after, Jeanette? I could feel the emotions coming through the phone. Lambchop was her mother's dog, and she had passed away 3 years ago. She has been her dog ever since and her family loves Lambchop dearly. She disappeared when let out in the backyard, and Erica thought she had been stolen. She said her kids will be so happy! Erica's husband went to CACC to pick Lambchop up that afternoon after work, and they are so grateful to have her back home. She is about 13 years old now, and they couldn't imagine life without her. Missing 5/30/2019; Reunited 6/5/2019 Erica will register Lambchop's microchip now as well! #ThisMadeMyDay ~Jeanette Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters
