Lucy's microchip gets her and Bruno home...

Thank you to finder Chana for taking these two friendly sweethearts into your home, and for emailing Lost Dogs Illinois so that our microchip hunters could help you get them home. We know you couldn't keep them long with your own dog at home!

Lucy had a registered microchip; her owner had given her to a friend when she had to move out of state and couldn't take her. Her friend already owned Bruno, who was not microchipped.

The registered owner contacted her friend and gave them the finder's information. She said she was so thankful she microchipped "Lou," she had her since she was 5 months old. She will be keeping the information up to date.

Found this morning 5/7/2020; Reunited this evening 5/7/2020 Welcome home Lucy and Bruno! Microchips do work!!!
