Messaging Italy to get Lou Malnati home!

Microchip Hunters don't always have the easiest time reuniting pets!
After microchip hunters received a message about this gorgeous German Shepherd at Chicago Animal Care and Control, we were able to get owner information from the microchip, but nothing was going through. Lou Malnati had been there 10 days already, so we knew we had to work fast.
We were able to find and contact the sister in Italy through facebook messenger! She let us know how much he means to his family.
This case was a roller coaster with many ups and downs, but Lou Malnati is finally home, after 23 days at CACC!!! "I'm super happy he is healthy and happy and home"
