Microchip Hunters reunite this girl...

An amazing Bulldog came in as a stray to Chicago Animal Care and Control on 9/22. She had a microchip with a disconnected phone number so this case was sent to microchiphelp.com for help yesterday. We all knew she had to be someone's beloved pet.

I found some information on the owner that looked like a match, and started making some calls. I left a couple voicemails, and Luis called me back not to long after. He wasn't aware that his dog was missing, and said, "Yes, I have a Bulldog, she is brown and white. My brother is watching her for me in Chicago." I told him her name is Maruca, and he confirmed it was her! Luis called his brother right away.

He called me back and let me know his brother would be over there to pick her up right away! Luis emailed CACC to let them know, and Maruca is now back with her family!

Thank goodness this was sent to microchip help; this 6 year old girl would have been adopted in a heartbeart! She didn't need a new home, she just needed to go home.
