Miska's family was looking for her for two weeks!

This beautiful German Shepherd had an unregistered Avid microchip that backtracked to Animal Welfare League. Chicago Animal Care and Control contacted Animal Welfare League but they were unable to find the owner information from the microchip of this girl. This was sent to Microchip help.

Diane from Animal Welfare League was able to help us! She made sure to get this chip thoroughly researched so that microchip hunters could get a hold of her family! She gave us the owner information, but the description of the dog didn't match, nor did the age of the dog. We went with it anyway and began our research!

It turns out that this was Miska's family, and they were looking for her for two weeks, and were just giving up. As soon as they got the call, they responded and went to CACC that same day! Miska stayed one more day to be spayed, and went home yesterday!

Our Microchip Hunters group doesn't give up easliy. Thankfully it was a match!
