Zero was found by a Good Samaritan in Summerfield, Florida. The microchip was registered, but to a previous owner that rehomed him just a couple of years ago through Craigslist. He only had a name of the person he rehomed to, as the email was through craigslist and no longer valid. Microchip Hunters did some checking and found a match to the name just .3 miles from the found location! He was found with the harness and a broken chain attached. Microchip Hunter Amy D. made some calls and reached the owner! She was very worried! Zero, now named Hunter, had been missing for 4 days. Arrangements were made to pick Hunter up, just in time, the finder already has 3 dogs and family coming to visit for the Holidays with their dogs too! Welcome home Hunter, you are loved! Thank you Sandra for giving him a home until his family was found! Microchip Hunters also registered the microchip to the new owner! Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters www.microchiphelp.com
