Paris, a little white Chihuahua, was found with a name tag, and a phone number. The finder couldn't connect with anyone at this number, so took her to Chicago Animal Control hoping they could help.
Though Paris also had a microchip, there was no address to send a letter, and Chicago Animal Control was unable to reach anyone at the number provided, so they asked microchip help for assistance. I found a phone number that turned out to be the son of the person from the microchip. He called me back and let me know that Paris was given to his cousin, Tracy, and he gave me her phone number. Tracy was coming home from work when she saw my message, and told me she would call me when she got home, after checking to see what was going on. She didn't know Paris had gone missing yet, but called me as soon as she confirmed, to get the information on how to reclaim Paris from CACC. Tracy let me know that "she is with us," on Friday. Found 10/21/2020; Reunited 10/23/2020 Welcome home Paris, and thank you to both the finder and Chicago Animal Care and Control for helping get her back to her family. Tracy will also be transferring ownership with the microchip company. Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Help Microchip Hunters Less
