pROOF THAT NOT ALL DOGS TIED UP ARE ABONDONED

Microchip Hunters received this case when Chicago Animal Care and Control tried leaving a message and email for the family of Maximus! The submission stated "Found tied out at Rainbow Beach."

I pulled up the owner information and filed a found report with Petlink as well, and then shared to our microchip hunter team for someone to work on.

The next evening, I received a call from Maximus' family - she said she got a message that he was found! Her phone hasn't been working for a while, so she didn't receive a call, but got the email alert from Petlink! She said he went missing from the beach, and they were missing him!

Maximus is home, and a new phone number was added to his microchip registration!
