Microchip Hunters was just sent a message from a friend, Jane! She had a friend with a found dog in Indiana that the vet told her had an unregistered microchip.
I pulled the information up, and it did look to be unregistered, but I contacted the microchip company hoping to at least get an implant facility. Guess what? It was registered AND had the implant facility. I called Peanuts' owners and they contacted this friend Jeri and got their little sweetheart back home! Peanut's owners just called me back, and asked, "how did you get my wife's number?" I mentioned that I contacted the microchip company, but told them it did look to be unregistered before I called. I asked when they registered and he said 'my wife just registered the microchip this morning.' Thank goodness! It is never too late to register and update your microchip information. Of course, it is best to do it before your pet goes missing, but better late than never. Welcome home Peanut, and a big thanks to Jeri for taking Peanut in from playing in the street, and to Jane for asking for help finding the owners. Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Help
