She escaped from a fire in the home!

Thank goodness Paris was found and picked up by Animal Control Officer Pam at the Belt railyard on the 4th of July! She was microchipped, but the information was outdated, including her name, so she was taken to Paws Tinley Park.

Genny, a volunteer with Paws Tinley Park messaged Jeanette from Microchip Hunters, who researched this owner and found a current phone number for her. She called back, and said they had a fire at their home and Paris ran off. They are staying at a hotel. She was so thankful, she said they live near the railroad tracks and was so worried about her! She is ten and they had her since she was a puppy.

So glad this teamwork got this girl back home!!! You are loved Paris!!!
