Biscuit was found in Chicago and taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control where she was scanned for her microchip. The owner's number attached to the microchip was no longer a working number, so they sent the information to Microchip Hunters.
I wasn't successful reaching the owner on file, so decided to try some family members that lived at an address with the owner. I reached the mom, who told me that Biscuit and her son lived with her for over a year, but the son moved out with her in June and they haven't kept in touch. She was very concerned about Biscuit, and said I'm sure she's confused and scared, which she was. She said "We love our granddog!" The mom asked if she could pick Biscuit up and said she really missed her! Chicago Animal Control kept Biscuit, spayed her, and the mom picked her up after the stray hold ended! Thank you Chicago Animal Care and Control! They are so happy Biscuit is back in their home and sent a video of her giving her usual hug this morning! "I'm grateful for you all I'm thankful for the person that found her too. We LOVE My grand dog. She was petrified when I came to get her poor thing. She got in a car and curled in a ball and went to sleep. She's warming back up and happy to be home." We are so happy we had the opportunity to get this girl back to a family that loves her. She didn't need a new home. Found 9/3/2022 Reunited 9/11/2022 Welcome home Biscuit! *Video in comments* LostDogsIllinois Microchip Hunters Microchip Help
