This gorgeous Cane Corso was found at a dog park with a bowl of water. No owner in sight. It would be easy to assume someone abandoned her there.
A nice couple took her home for the night, and their friend Rubio reached out to help them! He contacted us at microchip help to check into her very current rabies tag! We were able to get her owner information, and when we couldn't connect by phone right away, the finders went to her home! This sweet couple was told that 'dad is a firefighter and has been at work for an extended shift, and that Mom and daughters were out looking for her' They were very happy to see her, and we are so grateful for their effort to return NALA to her home. Today I received a text from dad: "OMG, Thank you I'm just seeing this, I have a loaner phone and my screen went black. I appreciate you she is home safe and sound we looked for her til 3am combing the area. A wonderful couple brought her back!" Thank you Rubio and friends! Nala didn't need a new home, she just needed to go home. Found 6/11/2020 Reunited 6/12/2020 Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Help
