"Thank you for your compassion and empathy"

Chicago Animal Care and Control sent a case to microchip help today. It wasn't exactly a dead end chip, but a senior dog with a name tag and address; no phone number.

Microchip Hunters pulled up the name that belonged to the address, and was able to find a phone number to reach the family. The owners weren't able to pick him up right away, but asked if their daughter could please pick Achilles up! We gave them the information to let CACC know who was coming, and this senior boy was able to go home! We didn't want him to wait there any longer than he needed!

"He is 17 years old!! We got him when he was 2 weeks old and I fed him with a bottle. He is the same age as 2 of our grandchildren."

We are so thankful Achilles is home! He is just precious! His owners said, "He is really such a GOOD dog!"
