"Thank you for your service"

A group of kids found Chewie in Bolingbrook, and were walking him around trying to find his family or someone that could hold on to him. He was taken in by Temo, who was able to get him scanned, and his microchip was found! Temo is from Elgin, so Chewie went home with them to Elgin while waiting to hear from his family. Animal control was also notified.

The information for the owner had old contact information, so Microchip Hunters were asked to see if they could help.

After trying a few numbers and emails, there were no replies. Since it was late, I went back to researching the next morning, and found a business that also shared that same address., so I called and texted. They were Chewie's owner, and happy to get this call. He got out of the house 2 days prior.

Arrangments were made, and Chewie was picked up from Elgin.

His microchip will be updated too!!!
