Thanks CACC for sending to Microchip Help!

Kayla, a 2 year old adorable Pitbull Mix, wound up at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) on 5/23/2020. Her microchip was registered in 2018, but when CACC called the phone number, the person that answered said they had the wrong number.

CACC sent this to Micrcohip Help. In searching for the owner, I came across some phone numbers to try for the owner, Kaneel. It turned out that a number I left a voicemail and sent a text to was his sister, and minutes later, I received a call from Kaneel.

I told him that Kayla was found and taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control, and he said that a family member was taking care of her while he was out of town for a week. He just got back, and was very happy to hear the news that Kayla was found, and he emailed CACC to get her picked up today. He didn't know about Chicago Animal Control, so we are very thankful they sent this to microchip hunters to work on.
