The Great Pyrenees là nhà cuối cùng!

This big boy was found in #Chicago #IL and Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation took him in to help find his family!

They found a microchip that had migrated, posted him as found here with #LostDogsIllinois, and submitted the microchip information so that Microchip Hunters could help research the unregistered microchip!

The microchip company, AKC, was unable to provide me the breeder information, as it was private, but they told me they were going to reach out to them and ask that they call me. I didn't hear back, and I called a couple of times over the next few days. AKC said they still didn't get any response from the breeder on file.

I was able to obtain the email address for the breeder, and then research a number associated to this email! This breeder had the owner information for me, but when I called, the owner told me he and his girlfriend,Kieu, are no longer together and that she owns him! He said he would get contact information for me,and that he hadn't seen him in years and would love a photo. He spoke pretty good English, but Kieu speaks Vietnamese, so my conversations with her primarily took place through Google Translate!

Kieu told me she had been looking for Polar for several days, and was very happy to get this call! I let Garrido Stray Rescue know I had talked to the owner, and they let me know that Polar was scheduled to be neutered today, so Kien could pick him up after 3:00!

Polar is now home with his very happy family!
