Lost Dogs Illinois/Microchip Hunters was able to help King get home yesterday. Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) sent this case to microchip hunters, and I was able to speak with the vet that administered King's microchip through the Night Ministry (street medicine team) since the petlink chip was unregistered. She gave me the owner information, and when I contacted him, he was relieved to hear that King was safe at CACC.
King's owner just paid to have his car repaired, and needed help to pay the reclaim fees. Thanks to all that donate to Lost Dogs Illinois - we use these funds to help those who need it. King's family is very grateful.
Welcome home King - stay by those that love you
