Tiger is home after looking all night...

This little 13 year old Maltese was found and taken to Chicago Animal Care and Control. His Avid microchip information from 2007 led back to a disconnected phone number, so CACC sent it to Microchip Hunters, microchip help, to get this cutie home!

After researching the name and number on the chip, we tried a number for a relative we found. A gentleman answered, and let us know this owner had passed away last year, and that the brother and mother were now caring for Tiger. He passed along all the information, and we were able to contact the brother who loves Tiger dearly. Richard told me, I was looking all night for him, my mom is elderly and he got out. They were very worried and relieved to hear he was found.

Richard said, "I will get dressed and am leaving now to pick him up." He had no idea where Chicago Animal Control was.

Sweet 13 year old Tiger is now home, and we passed along all the microchip information to Richard so he can update the information. He told us that Tiger is doing well this morning, and that he will update the information right away.
