When Chicago Animal Care and Controll submitted this case to Microchip Hunters, my heart melted. They didn't get a response from any of the phone numbers on the microchip so sent it to us for help. A 15 year old little Pomeranian? Tansy had to be somebody's girl.
I got a hold of the daughter of Tansy's owner, Nuala, by texting a relative. Nuala called me, and said her mother gave her Tansy years ago, but was currently caring for her and also her other dog, Maxie, while she gets into her new place. She lives over an hour away and is in the process of moving. She asked if Maxie was also at CACC, and sure enough he was! He had no microchip... Nuala was so distraught from this news and was able to come get both dogs and take them back with her. Her name was also listed on the microchip for Tansy, but her phone number had changed. She said the information was from 2007. "Thanks for all your help, I got outta there (cacc) at 5pm...it was a LONG LONG day there. Got em baths tonight! they were smelly & dirty." We are so happy that both Tansy and Maxie were able to go back with their family and that both now have microchips with current information! Welcome home Tansy and Maxie! You are loved! ~Jeanette Lost Dogs Illinois Microchip Hunters
