We never get tired of these reunions!

It was such a relief to hear that Moose was still in his home of 11 years. Chicago Animal Care and Control asked microchip hunters for help finding the owner of this boy adopted in 2008. The owner's phone number was disconnected.

When I started researching the name and number, I found that the owner had passed in 2017, and my heart sank. I was hoping so much to be able to find that Moose was still living with family!

There weren't too many immediate family members to try, so I started to reach out to others at the address. It brought me so much joy when Jonathon answered and told me he still lives in his aunt's home with Moose, and that someone left the gate open. It was such good news for him to hear he was found, and he sent a friend today while he was working because he wanted Moose home right away.
