Home at Last! The found Pomeranian from #Joliet #IL is home safe and sound! Her name is Foxy! Thank you to Essington Road Animal Hospital for taking Foxy in, registering to Lost Dogs Illinois, and for reaching out to get help from Microchp Hunters for this unregistered microchip!

Microchip Hunters was able to find possible information on who the microchip was sold to in 2013, and tried a few different locations to see if owner information could be found! Thankfully they were able to find records but the phone number from 2013 was outdated. I found a working number for the son, who said, "OMG you found Foxy!" He gave me his mom's current phone number and she was very happy to hear she was found safe.

Foxy was picked up! The owner messaged: "Thank you so much! You made a family very happy , specially all the lil kids" Essington Animal Hospital was told the father had to send his daughter to school this morning upset. They are very thankful! Foxy has been with this family for over 9 years!

Found 2022-10-11 Reunited 2022-10-11. Welcome home!

Foxy's microchip is now registered and an ID tag is being sent for her collar too!
